Though some of his practices as described in the book maybe disturbing or shocking to read for some people, I thoroughly enjoyed reading the de Fascinating first hand account of the life of an Aghori living the dual life of a householder in the heart of Mumbai then Bombay as well as of a hard core Aghori doing some incredible deeds as his sadhna.

Clear, concise and definitely – don’t try this at home. At The Left Hand Of God will both shock and comfort the readers, presenting to them a better understanding of Vimalananda Aghora, a man who was shrouded in mystery during his lifetime. I don’t know what made me pick this book at TVM airport.

This is perhaps the best way to really get the know Aghora, through stories, anecdotes, witty yet wise aphorisms and stern truthfulness.

I could not stop reading, despite ttilogy busy schedule I was able to finish this book in 2 weeks. The author is an American who had come to study Ayurveda in a college at Poona in the 80s when he meets an Aghori. Who would spend 3 years of his life with an Aghori, making a first-person account of his teachings and would also cremate him after his death?

This is one helluva mind blowin’ series. Vimalananda devoted his entire life in the pursuit of attaining a personal experience of God and advises the readers to undertake a similar quest.
